Welcome to ProfitScanner. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ProfitScanner mobile application, website, and related services ("Services"). By accessing or using ProfitScanner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. Overview

ProfitScanner is a resale estimation and product analysis tool designed to help users estimate potential resale value for secondhand items using AI-powered scan analysis and estimated pricing signals.
ProfitScanner provides informational estimates only and does not guarantee resale value, profitability, or successful transactions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ProfitScanner.

By using the Services, you represent that:

  • you are legally permitted to use the Services,
  • the information you provide is accurate,
  • and you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the security of your account,
  • protecting your login credentials,
  • and all activity occurring under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Services

ProfitScanner may offer subscription-based access to premium features, including expanded scan limits, inventory functionality, synchronization features, and future premium functionality released within the app.

Available plans may include:

  • Weekly subscriptions
  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Annual subscriptions
Prices, scan limits, included features, and subscription offerings are displayed in-app and may change over time.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store systems and automatically renew unless canceled according to Apple's subscription rules.

Billing

Payments are processed through Apple App Store billing systems.

Cancellation

Users may manage or cancel subscriptions through their Apple ID subscription settings.

Restores

Users may restore purchases through the in-app "Restore Purchases" feature.

5. No Financial Guarantees

Estimated values, profit calculations, resale information, and item analysis are provided for informational purposes only.

We do not guarantee:

  • profits,
  • resale value,
  • successful sales,
  • market demand,
  • pricing accuracy,
  • or investment performance.

Actual resale prices may vary based on:

  • condition,
  • authenticity,
  • marketplace demand,
  • timing,
  • location,
  • fees,
  • shipping costs,
  • marketplace conditions,
  • and buyer behavior.
Users are solely responsible for their buying, selling, and investment decisions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Services,
  • abuse scan systems or scan limits,
  • attempt to bypass subscription limitations,
  • attempt unauthorized access,
  • interfere with platform infrastructure, servers, or systems,
  • automate requests, scraping, or bot activity,
  • scrape or reverse engineer the Services,
  • negatively impact reliability or availability for other users,
  • or use the Services unlawfully.
We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access for abusive behavior.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, graphics, logos, and functionality related to ProfitScanner are owned by ProfitScanner and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or exploit any part of the Services without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

ProfitScanner may rely on third-party providers including:

  • Firebase
  • RevenueCat
  • AI services
  • analytics and diagnostics services
  • Apple App Store services
We are not responsible for outages, inaccuracies, or failures caused by third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProfitScanner and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • purchasing decisions,
  • resale outcomes,
  • financial losses,
  • lost profits,
  • incorrect estimates,
  • failed transactions,
  • subscription interruptions,
  • cloud synchronization issues,
  • temporary service outages,
  • third-party service failures,
  • data loss,
  • or indirect damages arising from use of the Services.
Use of ProfitScanner is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted access,
  • error-free operation,
  • or accuracy of results.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

12. Service Changes

Features, pricing, scan limits, subscription offerings, cloud functionality, analytics, and app functionality may change over time as the Services evolve.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
